All our Posi floor cassettes are manufactured right here in our Elgin premises, providing a cost-effective and flexible service. Our designers use cutting edge analysis and modelling techniques to design the connections and fittings that ensure our cassettes can integrate seamlessly into any design.
The six different Posi-Strut web sizes when combined with two 47mm deep chords result in the following six standard joists depths:
PS8 – 202mm
PS9 – 225mm
PS10 – 253mm
PS12 – 304mm
PS14 – 373mm
PS16 – 421mm
The advantages of the Posi-JoistTM system combines the lightness of timber with the strength of the Posi-Strut steel web. Customers can span far greater distances than would be possible with alternative timber products.
The use of Posi-JoistsTM provides customers with unequalled design freedom across a wide range of applications for both floor and roof in domestic, industrial and commercial applications.
Like I-beams, customers achieve exceptional floor performance from a minimum 72mm wide fixing surface, making flooring easy, with less shrinkage, and with precision engineering this reduces return visits and remedial work.
